What happens at a cap?
We notify you at 80% of bandwidth. At 100% you choose: turn on overage at $0.01 per GB (off by default), move up a package, or ride out the month at a reduced top quality (720p) instead of going dark. A full storage quota pauses new uploads; playback never stops. No surprise bills. No forced upgrades.

Which line am I on?
Packages fit hosting your own videos on your own sites, dashboard first. Pay as you go fits building a product on the API, or usage that does not match a package: no seats, no project limit, two meters.
What happens when I hit my bandwidth cap?
We email you at 80%. At 100% you pick one of three: turn on overage at $0.01 per GB, move up a package, or finish the month with playback capped at 720p. Your videos keep playing either way.
What counts toward storage?
Your originals plus the encoded renditions. Packages count every byte against the quota. On pay-as-you-go, a video nobody has watched for 30 days counts half its size on the storage meter; nothing moves and playback is unchanged. How cold storage works →
Is there a free trial?
Packages start with a 14-day trial; a card is required and nothing is charged if you cancel before it ends. Pay as you go has no trial: you are billed for what you use from the first GB.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Move between packages, or to pay as you go, from your billing page at any time. If you are not sure what fits, email [email protected] and we will help you pick.
How do I cancel, and what about refunds?
